      Aaron Shaw was born in the town of Vancouver, Washington in the US but was raised in Libby, Montana. Life had been all but a walk in the park. Shaw's father was a hateful, racist, bigoted, and homophobic person. As Shaw got older it began to show through just how unique Shaw was. He had an extraordinary imagination and a very complex vocabulary. More than that, his greatest fears came to light upon discovering he himself is homosexual. His father then, at gunpoint, forced his only son to leave. Shaw then went on a journey of homelessness and depravity that took him to Arizona for five years and to New Orleans for seven, where he established a deep love for the city. Now he lives a somewhat stable life in Hutchinson, Kansas with his life partner. When brought together, all these troubles and triumphs reveal just how unique Shaw's comics really are.

      Holding himself to a much higher standard than some authors today, Shaw struggles "...to develop a story that the world hasn't seen a million times..." With the determination and will power put behind his comics, Shaw is sure to give us our next great superhero universe.
